It rained all day Tuesday. Simon stayed home sick with Zac, and Alice had been cooped up all day at school. So when it cleared up a bit after supper, I took the kids out to play in the puddle right in front of our house. They had fun running up on the sidewalk every time a car drove by. We also walked down the sidewalk a bit in search of other puddles, but didn't find anything sufficient. We did find a plastic spoon and plastic poker for a yard sign. The kids then had even more fun scooping pollen pods out of the puddle. I love it that kids are so easily entertained outdoors.
