Raven Rock with Izzy

 On a day the kids school was closed (but I had to work) Natasha took Izzy and Alice for a day of hiking at Raven Rock. Looks like they had fun!

Kids dinner

 We had Natasha and Andrea over for vegetarian lasagna dinner, and put the kids at the kids table in the kitchen so we could have actual conversations in the dining room. Zac went to take a picture of them (not sure why Simon is missing) and accidentally took a movie instead. I think it's a masterpiece short film.

Kim and Mike's baby shower

 We hosted a little neighborhood get together as a baby shower for Mike and Kim, our neighbors.

Schenck Forest hike with Friends

 I am always so grateful for this group of daycare friends. They function as our extended family. We spent a warm March day on a short hike where the kids played in the creek for a long time and the grownups sat around on a fallen tree trunk sharing our parenting fails and concerns for democracy.

Art

 Alice's main hobby is still art. She mostly draws dragons, but occasionally she'll do other things. She'll paint when friends come over. Zac even let her paint a mural behind the place the large mirror goes in the kids bathroom (when he was removing the wallpaper and painting it).
