Notice how well-trained Simon is because even although he is so excited to see Zac, he puts his work away first! Although Simon didn't discover the tongs until the end, my guess is this work is focusing on the motor skills to use to the tongs and move the little balls from one dish to another. We never really know what Simon does at school all day, because whenever we ask him, he just says he "plays trains." When we pick him up, he is usually sitting calmly doing some work or playing outside.
