New Year's Ghosts

We spent New Year's day unpacking from Ohio and doing laundry. When Alice saw me taking these animal-themed hoodie snuggie blankets out of the dryer, she said, "Oh, that's not alive! I'm not scared of it anymore." The kids got these as gifts from grandma and grandpa Shogren, but didn't seem too interested in them at the time. But as soon as Alice realized that they posed no threat, the kids had a lot of fun running around the house with them. Alice pretended hers was a superhero cape and Simon pretended his was a ghost (because anything with two big eyes is a ghost).

Zac helped Alice make her name out of floor stuff.
