"I played in the fire, mommy."

I made a quick video of our typical dialogue, regarding Simon's burnt finger. In the video, I ask him about his finger, but normally he just tells me, out of the blue, "Oh--I played in the fire, mommy," while holding up his finger. Sometimes he changes it up a bit and says, "I touched the fire." Then we have a big argument about whether or not fire is hot or cold.
