Normally Zac picks up Alice from daycare, but they closed early today due to fear of some ice or snow headed our way, so I left right after school and picked her and Simon up. Part of the way home she was babbling about the routine when we walk in the door: "I take off my coat, I take off my boots, I wash my hands, I get marshmallows!" When we got home and I backed the car into the driveway, I turned around and saw that she had taken her boots and socks off in the car. I guess she figured she could get to those marshmallows quicker if she took care of one of those steps in the car.
