On Sunday, Simon got some Go Fish lessons in the morning. Then the grandparents took everyone to the park in the afternoon.
I did laundry and took a walk and talked to my friend Laura on the phone, per our usual Sunday afternoon tradition.
Meanwhile, Zac cooked. We decided to have Christmas dinner on Sunday evening because Tener would be flying out Monday afternoon (Christmas Eve).
Since this was our first ever holiday at home, it would also be our first time making a turkey. Zac did a great job!
Alice loved preparing the relish and cheese tray with grandma.
The spread was finally ready! (We did it buffet style.)
After supper, we all watched A Christmas Story together. It was the the kids' first time seeing it, and one of the few live-action movies they've ever seen. They loved it. Alice asked questions the whole time.
After the movie, we all ate pumpkin pie while the kids ate their bedtime snack at the dining room table.
