On Friday afternoon, I picked up my brother from the airport. He had flown in to join us in Brevard for a family vacation for a week. Since we had a couple of hours to kill, I took him on a walking tour of downtown Raleigh, where he enjoyed taking pictures of the local landmarks.
Then we picked up the kids from daycare, and Alice was so excited. We had pizza for supper, and after getting the kids in bed, finished up packing for our big trip the next day.
