Alice is at the glorious stage of wanting to do things herself. For example, last night I got her yogurt out of the fridge. She said "I can do it." When she says this, it means she wants to do it herself, starting from the beginning. So she put it back on the shelf then took it down herself. The same for getting the spoon out of the drawer, and sometimes even opening the fridge (although thankfully she still has some trouble opening that herself). The good thing is you can use this to get her to do stuff. When she's not cooperating or focusing on what she needs to do you just ask "Do you want me to do it?" and she'll say, "I can do it!" and she'll do it.
