Whenever the weather is warm enough, Simon and Ellie spend a lot of time down at the creek part of the pond, catching critters like tadpoles, minnows and crawdads.
Alice, Vivian and Ed (neighbor kids) will also play at the creek too, but not with the same dedication as Ellie and Simon.
