She took a while to get going, but was doing pretty well by the end. She preferred to skate on the carpet around the rink, but would do a lap on the wood floor when prompted. Zac and I took turns with her, holding her hand so she wouldn't fall.
We put skates on Simon too, but that did not go well and did not last long. The skates were too heavy and he was terrified of falling, and just ended up crying. So we took his skates off, and eventually Zac just left with him to go stock up on haw candy roll-ups from the nearby Grand Asia Market.
