Art Museum Park

On Thursday we went to the art museum. While my parents looked at the art inside, the kids had a lot of fun playing in the pig.

Then we took a walk around the art campus.

Another interactive sculpture of a bunch of metal door frames was super fun.

Bikes, building, and fish: a fun-filled day!

I can't describe what a pleasure it is to come down in the morning and see the kids hanging out with grandpa on the couch.

Nelson also painted my old bike pink and purple for Alice.

Parker spent much of the day with Alice while her mom finished cleaning and packing at the house. She landed a pretty big catfish!

The day has finally come when Parker is officially moving. We are so sad.

Luckily, while they packed up, Parker came over and spent the day playing with Alice.

Downtown Cary

On Monday, I dropped my parents and the kids off at the fountain in downtown Cary, then ran a few nearby errands, and picked them up at the ice cream shop a few blocks away.

Easter Egg Hunts (at home and Izzy's)

After finding (most of) the eggs at home, we headed to Izzy's for the annual egg hunt there.

Alice went for the big eggs, but Simon very intentionally ignored them and went for the little ones.

Alice played connect four. I beat her every time and she didn't cry or quit. Progress!

We finished off the day with some fashion fishing.
